A late bloomer, I didn't grow up sporty or motivated to work out, in fact I used to hide in the bushes during school cross country and join the class as they ran the final stretch. 

I certainly didn't have the motivation or resilience to push through when something felt hard.

What changed though?

Becoming a first time Mum, getting married and being made redundant in the same year.  2010 was full of up's & down's, exercise became a way to deal with the low moods and regain my identity outside of being a Mum.

What led me down the path of coaching women in their wellness journey? Spending 3 years competing in bikini fitness competitions.  Eek I still cringe a little.

​Obsessive meal planning, weighing, measuring everything, exercising to the point of exhaustion. That was my life, it made me absolutely neurotic. 

I thought I looked fat even when I was a tiny 120lbs and I developed a secret binge eating habit.

It was a long hard journey back to balance.  Combine this with some significant life challenges, I learnt that all transformation, starts first at a mindset level.

Realistic, real life solutions are at the heart of my work. 

With all the misinformation surrounding nutrition and exercise I went on a mission to create an approach that allows women to eat with ease, train with purpose and build strong resilient mindsets. 

It is my strong belief that you deserve more out of life than body obsession & food rules. You deserve a life where you crush your big scary goals and become your healthiest, strongest self.  This is what you'll find if you stick around here - Plus a community of women who have all unsubscribed from diet culture.
